Webinar

Webinar is for those who want to build stronger links with both existing and potential customers.
You share knowledge in your sector and promote your goods or services.

Whatever the topic of the lecture, the webinar is the best opportunity for you to answer questions from customers and promote yourself digitally.

We help you both manage and plan your webinar through our professional conference hosts.
But what is a webinar and how do you do it in practice?

What is a webinar?

A webinar is a digital lecture that you can organise yourself for your customers, retailers and other stakeholders.
By creating a webinar, you can easily get people to participate, discuss and directly ask questions while you lecture from your computer.

This is the main difference between a webinar and a seminar/lecture/workshop.
In addition, if it is just a one-way talk broadcast on the web, it is called a webcast instead.
Most webinars are often a combination of both dialogue and live broadcast.

At Westmanska, we have both the latest technology and knowledge to help you with planned hybrid meetings, remote meetings and why not studio recording.
At the same time, we offer professional conference staff on hand and snacks if needed from our nearby Westman restaurant.

Important things to consider for webinars

Good webinars provide some form of value to the audience, often knowledge of some kind.
The most important thing is that the audience feels interested and that you are therefore worth their time.
Some things to consider are these:

  • Plan a script and prepare for questions you might be asked during the webinar

  • Use visuals, show pictures and highlight points you intend to talk about

  • Show respect for your audience by answering all questions

  • Involve the audience in the lecture by asking how they feel

  • Keep it simple, think that your customers know nothing about your product or service

  • End with a Q&A session, say it at the beginning to minimise questions during the presentation

  • Use a chat, it makes it easier for listeners to ask questions and for you to see the questions

Events - purpose and organisation

What the different types of events have in common is that they are special events that are characterised by communication and information in different ways. The event can be part of an internal or external marketing programme. They are often part of a well thought-out communication plan, and should serve as a platform for the transfer of values and ideas. Events are often held with the intention of influencing participants and increasing their understanding of, for example, the values of a product or the values and future plans of a company or organisation. Often the impact of the event is also measured in relation to set targets for how well these values and ideas have been communicated to participants.
