Hybrid meetings that impress
Hybrid meetings is the modern way of organising meetings or gatherings.
This means that the participants in the meeting, like a distance meeting, but sit in different places.
What often characterises a remote meeting is that all participants sit remotely so that everyone is connected to everyone, meetings in Zoom or via Teams. One person in each place.
In a hybrid meeting, some of the participants are gathered in a room and the rest remotely via the internet.
Everyone has the opportunity to interact with everyone via microphones and cameras.
Giving the feel of a 'regular' meeting, but with the possibility to use the possibilities of the Internet remotely through smart hybrid meetings.
Hybrid meeting requirements - Innovative hybrid meetings
A successful hybrid meeting requires well-functioning technical equipment, both for those sitting remotely, but perhaps above all in the room where the participants "on site" are gathered.
The Westman Palace can offer this in the Adlersparre conference room, which has the following modern technology.
It includes a multifunctional camera:
Whisper quiet mechanical pan/tilt/zoom
Razor-sharp 15X HD zoom and a wide 90° field of view
Powerful 4K sensor, giving each person truly phenomenal video quality
There is a microphone hanging from the ceiling that has a very clear call sound.
Then there are effective individual table microphones that cut off sound, i.e. so-called beamforming.
The speakers are active while automatically eliminating noise, leaving the room perfectly suited for empty studio recording.

Advantages of hybrid meetings compared to face-to-face meetings
Advantages of hybrid meetings having on-site meetings is similar to having pure distance meetings except that a larger group meets physically.
Sometimes this group is dominant and it becomes basically an on-site meeting with complementary "spectators".
Sometimes this is in the minority and so the participants are more evenly distributed.
However, a hybrid meeting has its absolute advantages.
Through a hybrid meeting, you can be any number of participants, from all corners of the world
More people can benefit from the information/knowledge and more people can have their voices heard
It is time- and cost-efficient as participants who need to travel far can connect where they are
It is kinder to the environment as it reduces travelling
You can participate even if you are feeling a bit under the weather
The whole meeting can be saved digitally for future use
